The Planning and Design department is headed by Engr.I.I. Udoh, Executive Director (Planing and Design). The department is made up of four units namely; Planning, Design, Investigation and ICT and carries out the following responsibilities;
- Data gathering for the Ministerial platform.
- Preparation of the Authority’s Annual and Quarterly progress report.
- Preparation of mandate/constituency projects report for input in the Ministry’s progress report.
- Design/ preparation of cost estimation of projects in Appropriation
- Monitoring /supervision of ongoing projects.
- Reconnaissance survey of project sites in Akwa Ibom and Cross River States
- Data processing/repairs and maintenance of computers in the Authority.
